This would be a much better post if you would send us some samples so we can inspect them by hand - say a couple of the new 20's and a couple of the old twenties so we could compare them side by side. I'll be happy to forward my mailing address - just let me know.
At last different colours on US notes!
In Australia, we've had different coloured notes for at least as long as we've had a decimal currency (1966) and these notes have even been plastic since the 1980s. The results is that we have a highly secure, long-wearing and great looking currency.
But at least when we travel to the US, we'll now be able to tell the difference between the different denominations!
