Give me Firefox, or give me death: RedHerring

Things are not quite that impassioned or dramatic but that is the title of the linked Red Herring article. It has to do with the recent SpreadFirefox campaign. As previously noted many people donated (10,000) money to *endorse* a product they like and advertised such in the New York Times (unusual for a group of people, a "special interest group" as the article calls them, to say we like something as opposed to saying they do not agree with or do not like something). SpreadFirefox is continuing the campaign with the Boston Globe and on. The response has been so positive that some monies are going to be funnelled back to the Mozilla foundation (as they have more than enough to pay for the advertising). (That and expect to see other causes and or projects attempt this novel tact.)
